Regardless of the organization of your project, Striped Giraffe appoints its own project manager for each project. He is your primary contact person for all project matters, e.g. regarding planning, resources and our services. This project manager is also the primary point of contact for our employees with regard to all matters that go beyond the operational implementation of the project.
Our project manager needs a contact person on the customer side for the operative project implementation. He should be responsible for providing agreed services, processing tasks and solving problems in your organisation.
Both project managers also represent the first escalation stage for our joint project.
Operational project management can be the responsibility of one of the two. In both cases he ideally reports to a Project Board that monitors the alignment, progress and overall state of the project from a strategic perspective. In smaller projects, for example, this role can be fulfilled by the project sponsor.
In addition, we appoint an Engagement Manager who is responsible for the entire cooperation with you and provides strategic support to our project manager. If the operative project management is in our hands, we encourage you to appoint this Engagement Manager to the Project Board. In principle, it is desirable that our Engagement Manager has a counterpart in your organisation, e.g. the project sponsor.
