Striped Giraffe applies almost exclusively agile process methods when executing IT projects. We cherry-pick the best out of Kanban, Scrum, Pair Programming and other methods.
We know that only one thing is certain in our projects: change. Especially in e-commerce, projects are generally begun relatively quickly, and there is normally also agreement on a basic amount of functionalities at the start of the project. Our customers can always continue to think about function scopes, even throughout the course of a project, and the development has to react flexibly to any changes. We consider this to be a challenge, not a burden. We assume that it is coming.
Striped Giraffe likes to add technical project managers during the specification phase, so that our customers are already given a feeling for the possibilities, opportunities, costs and potential obstacles and alternatives, right from the outset.
We like short iteration cycles of 2-4 weeks and discuss with the client in every phase of the project, in order to obtain the most precise feedback about our work as possible. The project management is able to provide information about the three key aspects of a project – time, cost and scope – at all times during the implementation. That gives all decision-makers planning reliability and confidence.
