Senior QA Analyst (m/f/d)
Location: Katowice, Poland
We are looking for candidates characterized by independence, self-organization and ability to work in an international team, ready for long-term cooperation, open to new technologies, with great curiosity about the world and a good dose of humor.
Your tasks
- Collaborating with customers and other team members to define and fine-tune the requirements
- Validating the software produced by developers to ensure high quality and business value
- Developing technical best practices and ensuring adherence to them
- Selecting and developing appropriate test automation tools and frameworks
- Validating non-functional requirements
- Analyzing and reporting identified problems
- Defining Quality Assurance processes & tools for internal QA team as well as for the customer representatives
- Coaching and mentoring other QA team members
- Defining, documenting and sharing best practices across project teams
Required skills
- Degree in Computer Science or related subject
- 5 years of experience as a QA Analyst in web development projects
- 2 years of experience using agile methods in projects, e.g. Scrum/XP
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in functional, user interface, and system integration testing
- Knowledge of performance and other non-functional testing, and test automation frameworks
- ISTQB Foundation certified
- Good verbal and written English
Preferred skills
- User interface testing tools, e.g. Selenium
- Acceptance testing frameworks, e.g. Cucumber, JBehave, Fitnesse or RobotFramework
- Experience in e-commerce projects
- Acceptance Test Driven Development
- Development experience with Java and scripting languages
- ISTQB Advanced certified
