That is our Story

10 years ago, a small group of eager developers decided to start a company with the aim of making the world a little better.

They wanted to create an IT service provider that would cover e-commerce and data management together. They had years of experience in this. And until now, these two areas have always been treated separately from each other, even though they are inevitably connected. After all, e-commerce generates vast amounts of data, but it also needs to be processed and managed appropriately in order to continue to grow.

Together with a handful of brilliant IT developers, they finally founded Striped Giraffe Innovation & Strategy GmbH in September 2013.

They wanted to do things differently and better. In fact, they wanted to make a difference, and they wanted to do so on a wide variety of levels. This referred to the way they worked, the way they treated their employees, and the way they wanted to satisfy their customers. In particular, quality and human values were their focus, which has not changed until today…

…Their logo was a sympathetic animal that was big enough to always have an overview and keep the big picture in mind: the giraffe.

Because they wanted to stand out from the rest with their quality standards, they gave this giraffe stripes.

The first customers who appreciated this team came soon. They did not want to miss their cooperation and continuously expanded the range of tasks. They are still working with Striped Giraffe today.

Since then, the giraffe has been roaming the world to find other suitable talents to integrate into the team. And she found what she was looking for.

She found many great developers in Spain, Poland, Romania, Ireland and other countries. The team quickly grew to a respectable size.

In 2014-2022, the need for first-class IT services was enormous. But there simply were not enough qualified personnel in the market. And yet, throughout the years, Striped Giraffe has taken only the best. There are two important qualities they look for in their employees: Skills in the work environment and the right attitude – the second point being more important than the first. As a result, the company grew slowly. But those who still work for Striped Giraffe today always make the difference on client projects.

Throughout all this time, clients remained loyal to them. New ones came along. That led to the addition of new skills. More and more technologies were evaluated and some were found to be good enough to be used to support clients with their digital challenges. Today, Striped Giraffe works for up to 30 clients with 125 employees. It has also harmoniously expanded its locations during this time and now has offices in Germany, Poland (2 locations), and Romania.

In the process, the giraffe has always remained true to its values and ideals. And everyone is particularly proud of that because it was not an easy thing to do.

They not only make sure that their employees, but also their customers, fit their values. After all, they work together for many years and provide them with the best developers of the modern era.
