We are looking for an ambitious Sales Manager (m/f/d)

As an IT service provider operating in the areas of e-commerce, data management, individual software development and touchpoints in the fields of low-code and AI, we are looking for a committed and highly qualified sales professional who understands and can sell complex IT solutions.

Sales in the service sector is a major challenge and generally cannot be compared with the sale of individual software packages, especially because the requirements of our customers’ IT landscapes have become increasingly complex and multi-layered.

We are therefore looking for someone who is a good listener, has a deep understanding of technology, can build a bridge between business and IT, is a team player, can work independently and develop strategies.

We are looking for an all-rounder who has a strong interest in both technology and business and how they interact. The role will initially focus on the DACH region, but does not exclude international work, so we expect you to be fluent in German and English.

Your tasks

  • Responsibility for all sales activities and representation in this function of our company, which requires a comprehensive knowledge of our product and service offerings, which we will introduce you to
  • Shaping and taking responsibility for sales by building long-term relationships with new and existing customers through comprehensive research of requirements and needs
  • Consistently following up on all opportunities up to the conclusion of the contract
  • Meeting weekly, monthly, and annual sales and activity targets
  • Generating new leads, taking over leads from marketing and providing the best possible support to our potential and existing customers, developing leads into new customers and deepening existing customer relationships, managing an accurate and detailed customer list, developing an active, recurring customer base
  • Adapting sales methods to interactions, experiences, and results in the industry
  • Conduct concise and insightful market and competitive analysis
  • Participation in meaningful events
  • Developing and continuously updating your company and product knowledge, researching customer needs and adapting sales strategies accordingly
  • Personally approaching customers with innovative ideas for the development of cutting-edge IT strategies
  • Registering our company with the top 500 companies in the DACH region as a service provider
  • Working with project managers at existing customers to identify additional needs
  • Use of Salesforce to fulfill standard processes in all sales steps

Your Profile

  • Preferably at least 3-5 years of professional experience in selling IT solutions and a keen interest in business
  • Excellent communication skills (also on the phone), strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Experience of closing contracts at company level is a plus, but not a must
  • Ability to correctly assess situations and needs and quickly recognize business opportunities
  • Willingness to travel is a must, but will usually not exceed 50%
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German
  • Experience in e-commerce is an advantage
    Ability to work in a team is a must
